You may have heard some big news. At the Annual Meeting on May 20, Rockland Federal Credit Union announced that it will become Arise Financial on August 1, 2026. Because Community Credit Union is a division of Rockland Federal Credit Union, this news is part of our story too. We want to walk you through what is happening, what it means for you, and most of all, what is staying exactly the same.
The short version
Here is the simplest way to think about it. The name is evolving, but the people, the service, and the way you bank with us are not. On August 1, 2026, Community Credit Union will become Community Credit Union, a division of Arise Financial. Over time, CCU will fully move into the Arise Financial brand. That is the whole change in a nutshell.
What is staying the same
We know that change can raise questions, especially for members who have trusted us for years. So let us be clear about what is not changing. Your accounts, loans, deposits, and services continue without interruption. Your rates, terms, and account numbers stay exactly as they are. You will keep working with the same team you already know, in the same branches, with the same personalized, local service. And you are still an owner of this credit union, because our structure, leadership, and federal charter are not changing. We remain the federally insured credit union you know and trust today.
Why the change
If nothing about your banking changes, you might wonder why a new name at all. The answer is about the future. The Arise Financial brand reflects who we are today and where we are headed, with simplicity, care, and member-first support at the center of every decision we make. Joining a stronger, more modern brand helps us keep investing in better tools, better service, and the community relationships that have always mattered most to us. It is a new chapter built on the same foundation.
What to expect, and when
This transition is gradual and thoughtful, not sudden. Right now, we continue operating exactly as we always have. Beginning August 1, 2026, you will start to see the Arise Financial name appear in some of our materials, systems, signage, and communications. There is nothing you need to do. We will guide you through each step and share updates as they become available, so nothing catches you by surprise.
Thank you
Most of all, we want to say thank you. Your trust and loyalty are what built this credit union, and they are what carry it forward. We are proud of what we have built together, and we are genuinely excited for what is ahead as we grow into Arise Financial, built for what is next, by you and for you.
